Frequently asked questions

How do clients book appointments?

You get a personalized booking link to share anywhere—your website, social media, or email signature. Clients see your available times and book instantly. You can also create private booking links for specific clients with custom service options.

What happens after my 30-day trial ends?

You'll be charged £8/month to continue using Booker. Your data and bookings are always safe—we never delete your account or history.

How do payments work?

We process payments through Stripe. Clients pay when they book, and funds are deposited to your connected bank account within 2-3 business days. Standard Stripe fees apply.

What's included in the trial?

Almost everything! During your 30-day trial you get up to 300 appointments/month, unlimited clients, email notifications, and Stripe payment processing. SMS reminders are available after you subscribe.

What notifications do clients receive?

Clients get email confirmations when appointments are booked, payment receipts, and email reminders. After you subscribe, SMS reminders 24 hours before appointments are also available to reduce no-shows.

I don't have a Stripe account

No problem! You can create and connect a Stripe account directly in the app. It only takes a few minutes.

Do I need to download an app?

Nope! Booker works right in your browser on any device. You can also install it as an app on your phone or tablet with one tap—no app store required. It's faster, lighter, and always up to date.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. You're in control. Cancel anytime and you won't be charged again.

Can I set cancellation policies?

Yes! You can create tiered refund policies — for example, full refund if cancelled more than 48 hours before, 50% within 24 hours, and no refund for same-day cancellations. Assign different policies to different services or set a default for your whole practice. Clients see the policy when they cancel and receive the appropriate refund automatically.

What about my data?

Your data belongs to you. Booker is fully GDPR compliant — all data is encrypted, hosted in UK data centres (AWS London), and processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We never sell or share your information. You can request a full export of your clients, appointments, and account data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
